On Curacao there are may lizards. There are many species like for instance Gekko's, the yellow lizards that sit near the frontdoor light in the evening to catch all kinds of insects. I don't know whether they sit near the backdoor lights as well, but lights in general attract them of course.
The one on the movie is a large one (compared to the lizards we have in Holland if we ever find one) and it is about 30 cm's long.
Clich a few times and you can see the lizard move.
